Located in the southeast of Guizhou Province, bordering Guangxi to the east and south, Libo and Rongjiang to the west, Liping to the north, Congjiang is considered as a must stopover and an important transit point on route to those marvelous ethnic minority villages.
The most enchanting attraction around Congjiang is Biasha (Basha) Miao Village, with a history of 4,000 years or so. Biasha people differ from other Miao groups in dressing and daily life and is least affected by modern civilization.
