From Beijing to Xian, view the world from the Great Wall, step inside the Forbidden City that is considered as an epitome of Chinese history, and face to face the all-conquering Terracotta Army. Travel further afield to the romantic Chengdu to meet giant panda and enjoy a wonderful shopping and foodie holiday through Guangzhou and Hong Kong, gastronomic capitals of China.

Day

Arrive at Beijing airport. Your private guide of Easy Tour China will greet you at the exit of the Arrival Hall and then transfer you to hotel in city downtown of Beijing. Your guide will help with check-in procedures. (Female guide can be arranged for a women’s tour in China if requested)

  Kind Note  

  1. China is a safe country to travel to, and is a female-friendly country for world tourists. But as no country is immune to crime, it is suggested to be cautious to pickpockets and avoid walking alone into dark alley at late night.
  2. Most public restrooms don’t provide toilet paper, so it is better to carry some tissues with you when you traveling.
  3. It is safe for women travelers to take public transportation, but please avoid getting into black cabs, sometimes they charge ridiculous amount of money.

Private escorted tour to the largest city square in the world - Tian’anmen Square. Then walk through the Gate of Heavenly Peace (Tian’anmen Gate) to the Forbidden City, which is the largest imperial palace in China for 24 emperor’s reign during the Ming and Qing dynasties. It is protected by high walls and consists of 980 magnificent wooden buildings with 8,886 rooms.

Afternoon you will go ahead to explore Hutong alleyways, where the local Beijingers live, and you can discover the traditional culture of old Beijing and have an understanding of local women’s lifestyle. You will visit a local family in Hutong and take a fun-filled Chinese paper-cutting class.

Taste Peking roast duck for dinner at one of the best local restaurants. Used to be a royal court dish with a history of around 1500 years, it is the most famous Beijing dish and a must for your Beijing food tour.

Female travelers visit Forbidden City

Private excursion to the Great Wall at Mutianyu today, it is the less-tourist section with great views. The Great Wall is one of the great wonders in the world and the symbol of China. Mutianyu is 70km from city center and it takes around 1.5hrs from your hotel. The cable car on the Great Wall can help to save your energy and time, while the toboggan ride will bring great fun and excitement for the active young girls and children. You can make a choice when you arrive there.

After a light walking tour on Great Wall, give your feet and your body a rest with spa experience - a perfect treat for women. Enjoy foot massage or really unwind whole-body oil spa from a professional masseur. End this day with a pretty relaxing way and enjoy a good night.

Two girls visit the Great Wall

Take a private tour to Temple of Heaven, a complex of religious buildings, which was the site of the Emperors of the Ming and Qing dynasties to worship heaven. Now you can see the local Beijingers, both men and women, doing morning exercises here. Join the locals and take a Tai Chi lesson at Temple of Heaven.

Women worldwide love shopping. So in the afternoon, go to the Silk Street (Xiushui Market) for hunting for all kinds of Chinese goods you may like, mainly Chinese-made clothes, silk, and tourist souvenirs. Don’t forget to bargin!

This morning, you will take high speed train to Xi’an, the most important historical capital of ancient China. Be met and transfer to Muslim Quarter for a walk and get close to the real life style of the local people. You can see Hui women dressed in their traditional clothes, wearing hoods. Observe interesting gastronomic scenes and discover a lot of street snacks in Xian, such as cold noodles with sesame, beef and mutton bread in the soup, spicy soup with meat ball, Chinese Hamburg (marinated meat in baked bun)… Feel Hungry? Start eating!

Begin a wonderful day with a visit of Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum, one of the top attractions in China and often referred to as the eighth wonder of the world. After the tour, your guide will take you to a cave dwelling to visit a local family, and learn to make a small clay warrior. Afterwards, you will go to a local family’s home to have an interesting learning course of making Chinese dumpling, enjoy a homemade dinner including the dumpling you make. Dumpling is a healthy and nutrient food, and a smart choice for women who would like to keep fit.

Visit Terra Cotta Army in Xian China

After breakfast, transfer to visit Old City Wall of Xi’an which form a circumference of 9 miles with a gateway and watchtowers on each side. If weather permits, a bike ride is available. This is a best way to appreciate the grandness of the City Wall. Later today, admire Big Wild Goose Pagoda, the iconic landmark of the city for the last millennium and a great site on the ancient Silk Road. Don’t forget to take a photo with the mighty pagoda.

Then transfer to take high speed train to Chengdu, a popular destination among women who like the city’s food, laidback atmosphere, fashion trend and most importantly the giant panda.

This morning you will transfer to visit Chengdu Panda Breeding Center to see giant pandas, There’s a chance that you can see the baby panda taken care in the nursing room. After the visit, you will be escorted to local wet market nearby to see local people buy their everyday foods and how they bargain. In the market, you may have chance to learn spring-roll or wonton making.

After lunch, visit the Renmin Park (People’s Park), a good place to experience local people’s life and entertainment. They enjoy their life every day by drinking tea, playing mahjong, dancing, singing in the square. You can see local women, young and old, live a happy and energetic life every day. If you are interested, our guide will tell you some basic rule of Mahjong.

Later, have a stroll of Jinli Old Street for an authentic experience of traditional Chengdu. Enjoy the local delicious: Tofu pudding, wanton, Sichuan noodles with peppery sauce, bean jelly, boneless chicken with heavy seasonin…

Two pandas are kissing

In the morning, drive about 2 hours from Chengdu to visit Leshan Giant Buddha, which is the largest and tallest stone-carved statue of Buddha in the world. The Giant Buddha is about 71 meters high and 24 meters wide (short ship cruise to visit the Buddha will be included). After that, your guide and driver will escort you to the airport for the flight to Guangzhou. Be met and transfer to hotel check in.

Like a local Cantonese, enjoy breakfast at a popular restaurant (e.g. Tao Heung Restaurant) for morning tea and dim sum. Followed by a visit to Family Chan Temple--the largest, best preserved, and best decorated ancient architecture existing in Guangdong province. Have a taste of Guangzhou style ice dessert at Shunji Ice Bar, highly recommended by locals. Then walk around Qing Ping Market that has over 2000 stall along 1-km-long Qingping Lu and Ti Yun Lu in the north of Shamian Island. Visit a clothing wholesale market to glimpse into China’s most famous clothing wholesale production center – Guangzhou. And now it is the happiest time for women – let’s go shopping for inexpensive and beautiful clothes.

Enjoy morning tea and dim sum in Guangzhou

After breakfast, transfer to visit the Victoria Peak on the western half of Hong Kong Island. Then transfer to Repulse Bay, located in the southern part of Hong Kong Island. The origins of the bay's English name have become extremely obscure. Then visit the Aberdeen Fishing Village, where a large number of people (about 6000) who lived and worked on the junks moored there. The next stop is the Stanley Market, located in the charming village of Stanley. Hong Kong is a paradise for women. many of the stalls or shops in Stanley Market sell Hong Kong souvenirs as well as clothing.

In the morning, your guide will greet you at hotel and escort you to take public transportation to Central area. Taking the TRAM for a few stop to dry seafood market in Sheung Wan, you will be impressived by tones of dry abalone and shark fin which are the traditional deluxe material for chinese banquet. Then have a leisure walk to Avenue of Stars and Soho area. The Mid-level escalator, old pharmacy and traditional herbal tea shops are in your eyes. Later our local guide will take you to the oldest Mosque in Hong Kong that is normally not open to tourist.

Afternoon take Star Ferry to Kowloon, walk along Nathan Road which is the oldest and most important road in Kowloon, and then take Taxi to Yau Ma Tei and Mongkok, Enjoy some street food (e.g. egg tart, fish ball, Deep fried chicken, etc.) and have a stroll at ladies market. At last we will go to visit Tin Hau Temple, which is the largest and oldest Tin Hau Temple in Hong Kong. Ending the tour and we take public transportation back to Hotel.
