Day 02 Beijing (B, L, D)
Private escorted tour to Temple of Heaven, China's existing building complex for offering sacrifice to heaven by the emperors in history. Then visit Tiananmen Square, locates at the heart of Beijing, is the world's largest city center square which witnesses the development of China. And then the Forbidden City, nominated as World Cultural Heritage by UNESCO in 1987, is the largest ancient palatial structure in the world. At night, the epitome of Beijing cuisine Peking duck dinner is deliciously prepared.
Day 03 Beijing (B, L)
Proceed to visit Mutianyu Great Wall (round-way cable car included) - the largest construction scale and best quality among all sections of Great Wall that connects with Jiankou in the west and Lianhuachi and Jinshanling in the east. Then pay a visit to the Summer Palace, which is a royal garden most completely preserved with richest landscapes and large compact buildings. It was listed as the world cultural heritage in 1998. Later, enjoy boating at Kunming Lake.
Day 04 Beijng-Xian (B, L)
In the morning, enjoy tour by a 3-wheel rickshaw to Hutong, namely Beijing's traditional alleyways, to see the local people's life. Later, transfer to the train station to take a high speed train to Xian (about 5 hours). After arrival, transfer to the hotel.
Day 05 Xi'an (B, L, D)
Drive to visit Xian’s highlight--Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum. It is known as the eighth wonder of the world and a museum to display terra-cotta warriors and horses in Qin Dynasty. Then go to learn how to prepare Chinese noodles or dumplings at the local restaurants.
Day 06 Xian - Shanghai (B, L)
After breakfast, visit the Old City Wall - the most intact ancient Chinese wall in existence. It encircles and protects the ancient part of Xian City. Secondly, go to the Less Goose Pagoda which has a brick frame built around a hollow interior, and its square base and shape reflect the building style of other pagodas from the era of Tang Dynasty. At last, enjoy a shadow puppet show at Gao's Courtyard House. Later, transfer to the train station and take an overnight train to Shanghai by speed train(about 11 hours).
Day 07 Shanghai (B, L)
Upon arrival at Shanghai train station, be picked up and transferred to the hotel. Have breakfast and refreshment, then go out to visit Yu Garden, which has a total area of 20,000 square meters with an exquisite layout and beautiful scenery. After a visit to Shanghai History Museum and learn the knowledge of Shanghai and appreciate some relics, go to the fantastic Bund, which located in the Huangpu District, the scenery line of Shanghai and at the center. At night, enjoy the optional acrobatic show.
Day 08 Shanghai (B, L)
Drive to Zhujiajiao to visit a lovely small town near Shanghai, which is featured with the traditional lifestyle of Yangtze Delta. Then come back to visit Xintiandi, a car-free shopping, eating and entertainment area where composed of restored traditional shikumen (stone gate) houses on narrow alleys.
Day 09 Shanghai departure (B)
Transfer to the airport and fly to your next destination.
