Day

Be met at the airport and transferred to Brick Yard, a character hotel at the foot of the Great Wall - one of the wonders of the world. Free time for the rest of the day and you can enjoy treasured quiet moments with your love and perhaps savor the sunset view down the Great Wall.

Optional romantic activity:

champagne forest picnic - With your wife/husband, climb up through chestnut orchards into a pine forest, where you will be treated with a glass of Moet & Chandon champagne and find a white linen table laid with a picnic catered. Enjoy the drinks and spectacular view of the Great Wall from your hillside restreat.

Free time in the morning, you can explore the lovely village around. Our guide will meet you at the hotel in the late morning, and visit Mutianyu Great Wall by round-way cable car. It is a World Heritage Sites and highlight ancient architecture. This less-crowded section is about 2.5 hours' drive from downtown Beijing. In the afternoon, your guide will pick you up from hotel and transfer to your hotel in Beijing. En route, visit  the 798 Art District, where houses a thriving artistic community of modern Chinese artists. A quite romantic place for couple.

Honeymoon to the Great Wall

Private escorted tour to Temple of Heaven, included in the World Heritage List in 1998, is well-preserved Altars buildings. Then go to Tiananmen Square. It is arguably claimed as the largest public square in the world. Later, go to the Forbidden City. This large palace building was built between 1406 and 1420, and it served as the home of emperors and their households, as well as the ceremonial and political center of Chinese government. Get to know the history and back stories, e.g. how the king and his imperial concubine lived their lives.

Pay a visit to the Summer Palace, which is a royal garden most completely preserved with richest landscapes and large compact buildings. It was listed as the world cultural heritage in 1998. In the afternoon, take a 3-wheel rickshaw to Hutong, namely Beijing’s traditional alleyways, to see the local people’s life and this tour will actually show old Beijing’s timeless best to you. Besides, one-hour romantic boating at Shichahai Lake is planned.

Free morning for rest and after lunch, transfer to station for high speed train to Shanghai. Upon arrvial in Shanghai, you will be welcomed by your guide and transfer to a nice boutique hotel at downtown Shanghai. Stroll at the top attraction of Shanghai - the Bund, where many Chinese couples choose to take their pre-wedding photos. Optional acrobatic show at night, feasting your eyes on bicycle acrobatics, ballet, circle jumping, ball skill, contortion and Chinese magic tricks, etc.

Start your day visiting the beautiful classical Chinese Garden Yu Garden which is just located in the heart of bustling Shanghai and the traditonal shopping area - Yuyuan Market. it is also Shanghai's food center, where various street foods and traditonal snacks will make your mouth water. Drive to Xintiandi, a car-free shopping, eating and entertainment area where composed of restored traditional shikumen (stone gate) houses on narrow alleys. One of the most romantic places in Shanghai, you can choose any of the bar or café to enjoy your private time. Later today, get in Oriental Pearl TV Tower (or even Shanghai Tower) which has become a symbol of excellence in architecture and is a favorite sight for tourists in Shanghai. You and your wife/husban can have a fabulous panoramic view of Shanghai skyline - must be a treasured memory between you too. And have a stroll along the Bund to admire the colonial architectures dating to 19th-20th Century.

Shangahai jeep/sidecar ride - Couple sit in the vintage side car or a jeep, zigzagging the skyscrapers and old streets into the old town of Shanghai, to discover the real local life, the former French Concession, etc, withnessing the new and old of Shanghai.

Yu Garden

Around Shanghai, there are many romantic water towns; Nanxun is one of them, with fewer tourist. For your honeymoon trip to Nanxun, this ancient water town has something else to offer -  the traditional Chinese wedding show on water! The wedding ceremony must be very different from yours. The "bride and groom" dressed in traditional red costumes and board a small beautifully decorated hand-rowing boat, with the other boats following them. There're also music,dance and traditional Chinse rituals.

Also visit the old big family mansions and buildings of Nanxun Water Town, such as Little Lotus Garden and the Baijianlou, or the "100 houses complex", which was built over 400 years ago. Drive back to Shanghai, free time for the rest of the day.
