3 Day Luoyang History Tour

Itinerary

Day 1 Arrive in Luoyang (No meal)

Arrival in Luoyang, be met and transferred to your hotel. Free at leisure for the rest of the day.

Day 2 Luoyang (B, L)

Longmen Gottoes, Luoyang Visit Longmen Grottoes, White Horse Temple.

Longmen Grottoes: Most impressive collection of Chinese art of late North Wei and Tang Dynasty (316-907) representing the high point of Chinese stone carving.
White Horse Temple: first built in 68AD, it is believed to be the first Buddhist temple in China.

Day 3 Luoyang departure (B, L)

Drive to visit Shaolin Temple and Dagoba Forest. Then transfer to airport (or proceed to Zhengzhou to fly or take train) and fly to the next destination.

Shaolin Temple: the cradle for Chinese martial arts (Kung Fu).
