Tour program:
 
Day 1 Arrival in Beijing (no meal)
Arrival in Beijing, our guide greets you at the airport and transfer to hotel.
 
Day 2 Beijing (B, L)
Full Day sit-in-coach tour to the Tian'anmen Square, the Forbidden City, the Temple of Heaven and the Summer Palace.
-  The Tian'anmen Square : The largest city square in the world.
- The Forbidden City: The largest imperial palace in China for 24 emperors' reign during the Ming and Qing dynasties with a history of around 600 years.
-  The Temple of Heaven: a masterpiece of architecture and landscape design where the ancient emperors used to pray for the God's bless of the whole nation.
-  The Summer Palace: built by Empress Dowager Cixi in Qing Dynasty, a masterpiece of Chinese garden architecture.
 
Day 3 Beijing (B, L)
Full Day sit-in-coach tour to the Great Wall, Ming Tomb (Chang Tomb).
-  The Great Wall: One of the great wonders in the world and the symbol of China.
-  Chang Tomb: the most magnificent of all 13 Ming Tombs.
 
Day 4 Beijing/Datong by train (B)
Transfer to train station to board the morning train to Datong. Be met and transfer to hotel.
 
Day 5 Datong (B, L)
Visit Yungang Grottoes, Huayan Monastery and Nine-dagon Screen.
-  Yungang Grottoes: first built in 450 AD, the 452 caves and 51,000 statues represent the outstanding achievement of Buddhist cave art in China.
-  Huayan Monastery: named after Huayan Sect of Buddhism, it boasts the largest Buddhist hall in China.
-  Nine-dragon Screen: the largest of its kind in China.
 
Day 06 Datong/Taiyuan/Pingyao by express bus (B, L)
Take an express bus to Taiyuan, transfer to have lunch, and visit Jin Ci Temple and Family Qiao House. Proceed to Pingyao, check in local guesthouse.
-  Jin Ancestral Temple: First built in Northern Wei Dynasty in memory of the founder of the country - Shu Yu.
-  Family Qiao Courtyard House: a masterpiece of folk architecture in North China.
 
Day 07 Pingyao/Xian by train (B, L, D)
Visit Double Forest Temple , old the city: Ancient City Wall, the Rishengchang Draft Bank and the Mingqing Street. Take overnight train to Xian.
- Pingyao Ancient Town: best preserved ancient town in China listed as Cultural Heritage by UNESCO.
-  Double Forest Temple: 1500 year history, famous for more than 2000 painted Buddhist sculptures, regarded as "the treasure of Oriental painted sculptures".
 
Day 08 Xian (B, L)
Be met at the platform of train station and transfer to hotel and have breakfast. Sit-in-coach tour to Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum , Huaqing Hot Spring and Wild Goose Pagoda.
-  Terra Cotta Warriors and Horses Museum: one of the most important archaeological finds in the 20 th century; an army of terra-cotta warriors and the bronze chariots entombed in vast underground vaults at emperor Qin's tomb since 2200 year ago.
-  Hua Qing Hot Spring: a popular attraction to enjoy the beautiful scenery and 3000-year history.
-  The Wild Goose Pagoda: the city emblem, which was first built in Tang Dynasty for the storage of Buddhist scriptures taken from India by Monk Xuanzang.
 
Day 09 Xian/Luoyang by train (B)
Free morning, take an early afternoon train to Luoyang . Be met and transfer to hotel. (B)
 
Day 10 Luoyang (B)
Visit Longmen Grottoes, White Horse Temple.
-  Longmen Grottoes: Most impressive collection of Chinese art of late North Wei and Tang Dynasty (316-907) representing the high point of Chinese stone carving.
-  White Horse Temple: first built in 68AD, it is believed to be the first Buddhist temple in China.

Day 11 Luoyang/Zhengzhou/Shanghai by train (B, L)
Drive to Shao Lin Temple, and visit Pagoda Forest , proceed to Zhengzhou to take an overnight train to Shanghai.
- Shaolin Temple: the cradle for Chinese martial arts (Kong Fu).
 
Day 12 Shanghai (B, L)
Be met at train station and transfers to hotel and have breakfast. Visit the Bund, Yu Garden and French Concession (Xin Tian Di).
-  The Bund: Shanghai 's famous waterfront to see new-erect modern skyscrapers and aged buildings of the colonial period.
-  Yu Garden: It used to be a private garden with 400 years' history, it features traditional architectural style of Yangtze Delta.
-  Xintiandi: a pedestrian street composed of traditional street format of Shanghai "Shikumen" and modern development.
 
Day 13 Free Day for your own exploration. (B)
 
Day 14 Transfer to airport and fly back home. (B)
